Thank you National City for your dedication to this event, as well as to the community.

The Chrysler FoundationWe welcome The Chrysler Foundation back for their second year of parthership with the Roar on the River. Their partnership has enriched the event with the most spectacular fireworks in Southeastern Michigan.

WYCDWe welcome our newest partner, Detroit's Country music station, WYCD 99.5. WYCD is our music partner and is bringing to this year's Roar on the River fabulous talent such as Lee Brice, Detroit's Hunter Brucks, and Detroit's Fifty Amp Fuse. See more on these exceptional entertainers at the Entertainment page.

Gorno FordThis is Gorno Ford's third year with us as our Roar in the Park partner. Their contribution as a partner has been the key that makes the Roar in the Park such a success.

Lee BriceAlong with the many activities for this exciting weekend of events will be 99.5 WYCD’S Free Saturday night concert featuring one of country music’s brightest stars Lee Brice. Lee Brice is an American country music singer-songwriter from South Carolina. He co-wrote along with Garth Brooks “More Than A Memory” which became the first song in country music history to debut number one in its first week of release on the charts.

Hunter BrucksHunter Brucks comes from a proud upbringing as a Michigan farmer’s son. Born in a town called “Maybee” might seem like an ironic lyric from one of his songs but he was actually raised in Maybee, Michigan. He is one of six children in a family that worked hard, played hard, and loved harder. Hunter was instilled with two very significant ideals from his father, “a strong work ethic,” and “a love for the guitar.” He has been performing since his “idol and best friend,” his Father, handed him a guitar at the age of six. “I am Always striving to be successful for “the right reasons” and refusing to fall into the typical “cookie-cutter; sounds the same” category often seen in today’s music," said Hunter while reflecting on his Fathers influences.

Fifty Amp FuseFiftyAmpFuse is a combination of guys who grew up listening to and watching some of the greatest performers of the last 50 years. When you see FiftyAmpFuse live, you'll be watching well over 120 years of combined musical experience on stage...and it's obvious these guys can really knock it out.

John BrogeJohn Broge is a Hometown Sports Hero who was injured while racing in Trenton’s Roar on the River in 2006. John’s spinal injuries have required an operation, intensive therapy, and a strong resolve to do whatever it takes to get back on track to a productive life. One of the many challenges is to make his Wyandotte home handicapped accessible. John’s wife Lynne and sons JR & Leyland appreciate your effort. The Broges’ have been helping physically challenged children & adults for many years. His family, friends and fans ask that you join them for an Xtreme Makeover.
