Code of Conduct for Volunteers

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to assist us with the PNC Roar on the River! Please read the following requirements for volunteers. We are a family-oriented organization, and thank you in advance for respecting this Code of Conduct.

  1. Check in with volunteer coordinator:
    Upon entering park, please check in at info center. There will be a clipboard where you can sign in and, depending on volunteer activity, get a volunteer Tshirt.

  2. Food/drink:
    After three hours of volunteering, we will provde you a meal (hotdog and chips). Bottled water is available throughout your shift.

  3. Dress code:
    All attire must be free of inappropriate language, swearing, racial slurs, religious slurs, or overt political slurs. Refrain from wearing "racey" clothing (i.e., short skirts, very low-cut shirts, etc.) that may be deemed offensive and inappropriate.

  4. Language:
    Use of inappropriate language such as swearing, racial slurs, religious slurs, etc., are not allowed during our events.

  5. Use of alcohol:
    While on volunteer duty, we ask that you do not drink any alcohol while you are in a volunteer capacity.

  6. Smoking:
    While on volunteer duty, we ask that you do not smoke while you are in a volunteer capacity.
